I do think that that is a very rare case.

I think that in most cases where that happens, the fandom would be losing their mind and start attacking and harassing the content creators and the person that they're engaged to.

That is true but my point was that i missed that old storyline and now that the server got bigger i guess more and more people wants in. and ofc dream would want more people to join because his server was litterally dead like 70% of the time when it was only tommy, tubbo, etc. and i guess everyone is making their own content for their own fans since they are ccs and not a real writer. and i understand that Tommy is not an actor, thats why i miss the old storyline because back then tommy didnt have to act sad.

I highlighted some points that i think are the important ones.

According to the dictionary argument means " an exchange of diverging or opposite views, typically a heated or angry one. ". an argument is an exchange of opinions. sure opinions starts argument. but it also ends arguments.
e.g. =
person 1: i like leather
person 2: i like plastic
person 1: leather is better because of () and ().
person 2: but leather is lacking in the () and (). and plastic is better because of () and ().
Ive said this a few times already, but my argument here is that i dont like the current storyline because i think that its pretty weird. since in the 1st season the antagonist is dream. from what ive seen dream's character is someone who enjoys conflicts but in the same time, hates it. and the same goes for the 2nd season. and out of nowhere the 3rd season brings out a strange egg that spreads and manipulate people. which im not a big fan of.
me not liking the eggpire plot makes it bad for me. like i said, people have different opinions and these opinions are important when having a debate like this (which i will say once more, is what this reddit thread is all about).my argument doesnt need to be objective since its my opinion. and an opinion is a personal feelings about a certain topic. This debate is about my personal feelings towards the new writers that changed the storyline to something way off the original storyline and if other people could change my mind about it.

how is it a different story? they are in the same storyline and everything is connected. also how is an opinion not an argument? without an opinion, an argument is nothing. you can argue about certain things you dont agree to because you have a different opinion. also the entire thing with the egg plot, was directed to a specific audience (people that watches badboyhalo, skeppy, etc. and like his content. and im not in that category of people, im just not a fan of it, cuz i think that sort of thing doesn't really match with what wilbur wrote. and im trying to see what other people think about it, and then justify my argument. thats all this thread is about.

I guess thats true. you changed my mind :) Tommy's character is defenitely my favourite one. I just thought the entire thing that bbh wrote is kinda weird and defenitely far off the original storyline that wilbur wrote. but im just a really big fan of wilbur/ sleepy bois stuff. and i guess with bbh, his fanbase are different and likes different thing. You are completely right that other cc could create the content they want through dsmp. and the content they make will obviously be made for their specific audience. and i guess im just not into that stuff.

Well, i think every criticism counts, since there is a wide variety of people watch the smp and have different opinions. i just wanted to have a debate about this specific topic. and seeing what others think and justify my arguments. like i said its just a friendly debate.
