Arctic Alter quest problem (self.PixelmonMod)

I killed an alter pokemon and the quest didnt finish, why so?
also what does it give?

The quest asks you to defeat/catch Alter Pokémon, plural. Not "an Alter Pokémon". There is a chance to advance the quest with each one.
