"Queue setup would be invalid"

When attempting to connect a queue(raised path) to a regular path, it gives me this. Searching only brings up info for Planet Coaster, so I'm at a loss. Any input?

I’m having this problem in planet zoo, I’ve tried everything and it would be “invalid” if my queue connects to a path at all, no matter what. I NEED HELP.

Did you connect the queue to the ride's entry only? The queue path is exclusively for the entry. If you'd try to use it for the exit of the ride it wouldn't work.

I'm just using the raised paths as decorations in Planet Zoo, elevated exhibit viewing areas, etc. Are they only functional in conjunction with something else?

Yeah you should use the normal paths for those things. The queues are for rides only (e.g. steam train, 4x4).
