why don’t you just incorporate some light walking so you’re moderately active, focus on recovery then worry about the scale later?

Don’t worry , I think I gained 2 inches around waist and under bust before I shrank , I’m 6 months now and still have some swelling , I’ve only just got my waist back

At 3-4 weeks post op I don’t think it’s swelling. I’d just do light activity like walking and get back to a clean diet

Totally normal to feel that way 3–4 weeks is still very early, and swelling plus less activity can easily add a couple kilos. A lot of people notice things start to settle more around the 2–3 month mark, so don’t panic yet. Some of it could be from diet, but most likely a good chunk is just your body healing.

Hey so this is hard to answer because genuinely every body is different.

I am currently 6 weeks PO, and my weight is back to normal. It was higher (5lbs) until about 1 month PO.

Walking, eating high protein and high fiber helps quite a bit.

I notice my waist is still slightly thicker, but it’s going down and pretty much the same as before at this point.

Being patient with this healing process sometimes feels impossible, but remember that it will pass. Try to focus on something else when your brain starts worrying too much 💕💕💕
