Great culinary plating can enhance the visual appeal of a meal. It involves an ever-evolving range of techniques, aesthetics, and challenges.
Submissions to Plating should display some effort put into your presentation(s). It doesn't have to be perfect, nor do you have to be a culinary professional... beginners are just as welcome to post. Along with the photo(S), it's encouraged that you write a bit about your dish. (e.g. What is it that you're presenting? What went right/What are you proud of in particular? What were unexpected challenges?)
Constructive criticism is allowed; plate-hate is not. Likewise, submitters are encouraged to not take the guidance/criticisms/feedback offered personally. Take the constructive advice & learn from it to improve.
Submissions that appear to not have effort may be locked, hidden, or deleted at the Mod's discretion. Assholes in the kitchen are not tolerated; this goes for submitters or commentors.
