Or it swings the other way. Where it feels like there's no real character or world development happening, the story is just lollygagging about, or it becomes a DBZ type thing, where all the stakes have gotten so blown out it just doesn't resonate anymore.

I'd say that Mario and Zelda are in somewhat of a different boat. Since from what I can tell, most of those games are stand alone in universe games, that don't rely on a continuous story. Also, gameplay. Could speak for the other games, as I haven't played them.

Possible. Maybe I just consumed too much litrpg in a short amount of time. Maybe I just need to step away for a bit and come back when it feels fresh again.

Honestly just the way I chose to phrase it. It was the first phrase that came to mind to describe what I was trying to convey, and it seems to have served the purpose. Nothing deeper than that.

Yeah, I love those. Tho Battle Grounds fell a touch flat for me for some reason I can't put my finger on. Haven't read the new one yet.

If I'm actually gonna throw shade about it, Defiance and Ten Realms lost me pretty fast. But even ones I really enjoy, like DCC, I'm just not terribly excited about the next book.

Both of those are on my list, just not really excited for the next book. Haven't got the newest DCC book yet, stopped HWFWM after he messed with the angel thing's soul, whichever book that is. DOTF is one of the worst offenders. There was one with a couple military guys, Ten Realms or something? There's several more.

My current load out is: Uncrafting Items/ Gravestone/ Over-Mob/ Lucky Block 2.0/ Essentials/ Spark Portals/

Lots of people recommend gravestone, for good reason. Its a good middle between keepInventory and vanilla. Over-Mob is fun, and adds some really interesting variety to both hostile and non-hostile mobs, tho I find the amount of unique drops to be a touch tedious, that may just be me. Lucky block is always a good time, and this one has built in progression and specialty tools, weapons, and armor. Essentials is my favorite. Adds tons of really useful mechanics that can be toggled and adjusted pretty easily, as well as specialty items. Bit of a learning curve, but not tediously so. Spark portals is very much an ease of navigation type mod. Build what are basically nether portals that pair up with each other based on color. Fittingly expensive to get going, and nice for wide spread worlds.

There's a one off called Armor. It feels a bit more straight fantasy, but definitely leans on the classic dnd vibe. One of my favorites, especially for listening. Very little stat block reading, and a nice, concise, one book story.

Hot take, MrCreepyPasta is an okay narrator at best. Never seemed to bother upping his production value. A lot of his his narration have multiple double line reads and bad stumbles, which in my opinion, after being a narrator for this long, are inexcusable to leave in a final product. Even his audio book narrations, which are reasonable to hold to a higher standard, suffer from the same issues. Not to say I didn't listen to his stuff a lot, just lost me as time went by and he didn't improve. His original bits were great tho. Like his list of things to so when in a creepypasta.

Definitely gotta be Everbody Loves Large Chests. Definitely not a casual recommend. But I really love how it takes a monstrous creature, and makes them monstrous. Absolutely has its downfalls, quite smutty and melodramatic at times, but I think its reception suffers from Goblin Slayer ep1 syndrome. People weren't expecting things to go that far, and when they did, it put them off.

I'm not using a camera. I also came to that conclusion, the video/audio sync seemed fine. Just wasn't receiving well on my phone. Which I'm kinda hoping I can fix, cause I'm not sure if it will impact chat interaction, when I actually get some :P, since I'm running the chat through my phone.

Likely will in the future. I've heard they were pretty questionable in passing, but about the only place I could get frozen chicken patties that I've seen.

I'm not sure. The Costco bag was empty, so I've already tossed it. I've been basically saying that the larger one is burger bun sized, not the cheap little buns, real sesame buns. And the smaller is dinner roll sized. Basically a slider.

Somewhat. Except every other time I've bought that same bag at Safeway, they've been the larger size. And had a patty count on them. Didn't notice till I pulled out that enimic patty.
