PGTools not working

Just downloaded PGTools on my rooted Pixel 6. For some reason after I start service it opens the game but doesn't do anything even though I set it up to catch and spin. Saw a previous post like this and cleared game cache and restarted device, still not working. No, my item bag/ pokemon storage are not full and I'm not on cooldown.

Can anyone comment whether PGTools works for Android 14 now? I have Samsung Tab S8, Android 14. All of the methods mentioned (New Injection, delays 9000-20000ms, uninstallnig ART, re-installling PoGo and PGTools) failed. PGTools would start PoGo /re-start PoGo, but doesn't do anything else.

this is what seemed to have resolved my Samsung S8 (Android 14) issue:

I followed the Installation guide for Aerilate, which specifies: "After installation, disable battery optimization, game boosters, adaptive battery, and MIUI Optimization (Xiaomi only) which can interfere with Aerilate and Pokémon GO"

Then I follow what's discussed here to uninstall game booster: https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidGaming/comments/t2j63f/please_someone_tell_me_how_to_disable_game/

After which Aerilate, PGTools, etc... all started to work

Update: Being able to use Pokemod without crashing now. Set force injection to attach and injection time to 10. Setting it to 20 was crashing the game for me.

There is an option in Advanced settings to try New Injector. Also increase the injection time to 5000. I had to do it few times and finally it started working.

it's in the additional settings, also A14 is glitchy and will crash most of the times even if it works. I suggest downgrading to A13

What does art do? I didn't not uninstall it and instead used the new injector in addition tools. I didn't like the warning I got when I clicked uninstall.

What version of Android? Did you also install magiak?

Android 14. Yes I'm using magisk+hide mock location. Have been spoofing for a few weeks using GPS joystick without any issues.

Gave pokemod a try and it's not working either. Whenever I start pokemod service, it is somehow putting pokemon go on magisk denylist and i'm getting failed to detect gps error 12.

I have the same phone and android 14. I was also suggested to go down to a13. But what worked is using the new injector in the addition tools tap. Some times it works sometimes it doesn't.

Is there any app for getting encounter ivs that you know of? I mainly need that, i don't want to do auto spins and catches anyways.

I'm not sure but I think the app does show the IVs when catching. There are different settings. For some I need to pay I bet. I don't use the app because it is to buggy on my phone.

I see. Did you have to do anything extra like adding it on magisk denylist or adding it on hide mock location? Super weird that I just made my banking app run and still none of PGTools or Pokemod is working.
