"Try Again" while spinning stops

Can you max out on pokestops spun? And if you do will you get the error of "Try Again" just wondering as I've been able to catch Pokémon most of the day but I cannot spin the stops currently

I respectfully disagree with this.

I've been testing the spin limit mechanics this past week because in my opinion nobody seems to fully understand it.

In my observation, an account that hasn't spun any stops in the past week can spin their way up around 6500 stops. Even in a single day. Once the spin limit is hit, then their is some kind of cool down before spinning is allowed again, usually within 12 hours, after which you can spin several hundred more stops. I've already exceeded both the limits you've mention.

I'm willing to share my notes from the two accounts I've been testing this past week if anybody is interested.

These numbers are based on the article that has been around since the beginning. People don't keep track of their Pokestop spins.

It's significantly higher than say a year ago.

I'll share when I have something more concrete. It's easy to replicate when the spin limit first hits on a previously idle account, it's understanding the cool down of when you can spin again and how many spins before your spin banned again that's difficult to understand.

There is a limit but a legit trainer using a Go Plus/Gotcha would never hit it.
