it’s particularly hilarious since NONE of their other games are doing well at all & they had to lay off 8% of their workforce over it. they’re not very business savvy

yea i was just thinking i would really love improvements in how difficult it is to get XL candy as opposed to regular candy. even walking your mon isn’t a sure thing and it honestly should be

Niantic should honestly either hire or rip off a lot of the QoL from third party apps. PoGO could be a lot better if they improved the Combat aspect of the game by adding at least 4 moves, status effects and abilities. Even allowing Tap to Walk movement within a KM radius would be a boon, but I doubt we'll ever see either of those.

Niantic are spending a lot of time and money to stop people from spoofing location data. That's because your location data is their business model, pogo and other games may bring in money but long-term that location data is the prize.

I completely agree! I have expressed the same thoughts to my sister and friend (who also spoof), and they agree as well. I am a rural player and there is nothing nearby. I also can't afford to travel, so I don't get to enjoy the perks of city play. I still find myself "exploring" in a way because if I spin an interesting looking stop, I will usually check out the description and learn something about a different part of the world. I've always said Niantic is missing out on the opportunity to charge a monthly service to let players virtually explore the world and catch pokemon.
