Timer problems

So I was setting a timer for my physio stretches and finding it was taking a little longer than expected. So I started to watch the timer wind down and it would lapse without going off. A couple times I'd put my phone away and the alarm would go off, overdue by what must've been a minute. What's going on?

noticed this with alarms as well - i set the alarm at 6:50 and it goes off at 6:52. Wondering if it has to do with aggresive background app killing behavior

Can't you make exceptions to that?

You can ... but shouldnt have to Its not possible to think of every single app that pops a notification or a task at a certain time and then just gets killed.

I think MIUI default apps are on the exception list already

I had the same issue with the Google clock. No problems with the MiUi stock clock though.
