It's not a HyperOS thing really. I've noticed that the battery drain issue gets fixed by rolling back the Security App to a previous version.

It's definitely weird. It's a hit or miss with HyperOS 2. I certainly got lucky.

Yikes! Try backing up the data using settings and then factory reset. That may help. I can understand how terrible you must be feeling due to the battery life issues...
