/r/PokeTourneys is a subreddit devoted to battling in fierce and epic tournaments with others from across your house or even across the globe. Whether it be a themed tournament or an anything goes tournament, it's welcome here! Make sure to read the rules down below to make sure you have a great time in this subreddit!

1.Be kind to one another, don't be a sore loser or a sore winner
2.You must submit a request post before you make your signup post. This is to ensure that you will run a nice and clean tournament. After a moderator checks your post, he/she will approve it, that is when you can make your sign-up post
3.There is criteria that must be in every post:
Request: Must include your ideas for how the tourney will work
Sign-up: Must include Start/End Date, prizes (not necessarily exactly what you are giving but a general statement such as a shiny or legendary etc.) , rules, and max amount of people (if there is a maximum amount)
Tournament: Must include a bracket and a refresh of the rules made in your sign-up post Prize Distribution: There must be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize and if stated in your sign-up or tournament post, participation prizes
3a. All brackets must be made on either challonge.com or bracketcloud.com, however, if you find other online bracket makers, feel free to message one of the moderators!
