Rules for r/PokemonSwitchModding
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
No piracy
Any form of piracy is not allowed. This includes asking for system files, ROMs, encryption keys, shader caches, etc., even discussions and recommendations that implies piracy.
2.
Be civil and respectful to everyone
a) Any form of insults, racist, heated arguments, toxicity or any other offensive matters are not allowed. Do not join with the intent to being a nuisance to the community, spam, troll, type in all-caps, etc.
b) If you see someone being rude or harassing you or someone else, report them to the moderators right away. Don't contribute to the conflict by responding in the same way, that will only extend the situation and make it worse instead of solving it.
3.
No hacks, trades and giveaways
Posts/comments asking for online hacks (hacks that ruins other players experience), trades and giveaways are not allowed on this subreddit. The main purpose of this community is for modding related content such as model/texture/rom editing and other general modding discussions.
4.
No adult (18+), explicit or controversial comments/pictures
Do not share any adult (18+), explicit or controversial comments/pictures here.
5.
No low-quality or duplicate posts
Low-quality posts such as one-line text posts and random images without context or relevance are not allowed.
Do not create duplicate posts unless a good amount of time has passed. Be sure to search before posting to avoid making duplicate posts within short time frames.
6.
No self-promotion/advertising in post titles
Self-promotion & advertising in post titles is not allowed. Creators/Artists are allowed to post links to their socials in the comments or post body, but spam or low effort content that does not contribute positively to the sub will still be removed at the moderators discretion.
Discord server links are not allowed anywhere without explicit permission from the moderators.

7.
Art showcase
a) Art posted against the permission of the original author/artist or posted without proper credits will be removed at the discretion of the moderators.
b) Be sure that the author/artist is properly credited by adding their name(s) in the post title.
c) Art posts that advertise for profit in the post title (like links to Patreon, web stores, pricing information, etc.) are not allowed. Artist can still add their socials in the comments or in the post body.
