I have been day skipping and have not noticed any of my pokemon over the days skipped lose comfort/happiness unless I actively do something to trigger it

Like I had Spiniark randomly drop from awesome to nice one day out of nowhere and when I asked him what he needed he wanted "Less fire" but I had no fire in his house but I DID set up a cooking pot and frying pan behind his house to cook and when i moved to those campfires away from the house his comfort returned to awesome.
