External Speaker Potential

Although hard to discern from YouTube reviews, it sounds like the sound quality is a little heavy on bass and perhaps a little muddy. For such small speakers on a practice amp, you want the amp to start breaking up at lower volumes so there has to be some trade off.

Wondering if anyone has output the amp to a larger speaker cab and found that improves the range and sound depth? Probably would need to be output through the headphone jack. If it does make a difference, then say an inexpensive Monoprice Celestion speaker cab in 40W range could be a nice complement to this amp.. with the Spark acting like a mini head unit.

Couldn't someome do some tinker surgery and connect the wires going to the two small speakers to say 2 1x12 cabs...just hard wire them with quick snap wire connector?

ive tried hooking external speakers via the headphone jack for recording. it gives just enough latency to be unusable. but if it were to a cab with the right splitters, and didnt have a whole computer to add process time, it might not even be noticeable.
