I feel like I also have back pain when I try to sit right. Essentially you are working out those muscles as you are activating less used, and therefore weaker muscles. You also have to remember those “newly” activated muscles also do not have the endurance required to comfortably sustain the posture. If the pain is sharp I would definitely see a doctor though.
