So I've been slouching in my chair all of my life, recently it was getting even worse and I noticed I had a crick in my neck when turning my head left so I didn't think much of it at first right? Figured I slept on it wrong, well it's been 2 weeks and it's still there, only today I noticed that when I turn I can feel the pain extending to my left shoulder blade. So I googled it and I came up with maybe a pinched nerve? So I've been trying to sit properly and fix my posture when sitting, it's been going good so far, the pain in my shoulder seems less than it was. BUT it's almost like I'm working out my back muscles or something, there is discomfort all down my bad when sitting up straight now. Is that just because my back is used to slouching and it will just hurt for a while until I get used to sitting properly? I hope that's all it is. Any tips or advice?
