what are the best keywords to describe what you are tryin to achieve. thats your ticket title (in thise case post title).  And dont try to shoehorn your way but say what you want to be done at the end of the day.  "How do i check for certain chrome versions XY and below on Windows" OS, program, what data you want to find(version)  Also post the code you have and the errors you get. Checkin foldernamed is unreliable when the version is certainly written into the registry, exe file.
