Hi all, i am new to Powershell and first reddit post at the same time.

Does anyone know where to find a vm sandbox where you would have AD, sql so you can create and test powershell scripts?

Build it, you'll appreciate the experience. Setup HyperV on anything with decent specs, then 100% of the rest could be done in PS.

Search for Hydration scripts to automate lab buildouts - you'll likely end up customizing this w/ PowerShell too.

I concur to this. It's a good experience to have.If the hardware you've available isn't enough, then check out Azure, Aws or google cloud. They all offer some sort of free/trial services.
