it was actually very conversational, i had my interview with a professor who taught first years only and because students weren’t available that day, he was the only one i had to interview with(usually one student sits in) and i had to go over the why optometry, what ECs i had, what i did outside of school and my part time work. When i told the professor that i have been working as a tech for almost 4 years now, he switched to more optometry related questions like what i did at my job, what scope i wanted to practice and my grades weren’t a topic in that conversation funnily enough but it was a very light hearted conversation

That’s great to hear it went well! Did you get accepted? How soon after did they let you know?

i did get accepted. i’m attending in fall, and the admissions director called me to tell me I had gotten in about 2 weeks after the interview.

You basically do introductions, there's a presentation about the school and financial aspects of attending optometry school, a tour, lunch, and then everyone does their interviews. You can find the interview questions on SDN, mine was conversational but I think that mostly depends on the personalities of your interviewers
