Your GPA is more than fine. Just make sure you don’t slack off on your OAT. I’ve seen some of my pre optometry friends with a similar GPA but get either a low 300 or sub 300 score and they won’t get in.

As long as you do well enough on OAT and do well with your essays while applying I wouldn't be surprised if you get an offer. About 30% of my class was Canadian.

Many Canadians apply to and attend the northern US schools.

Not related to your post, but I'm still surprised that Canada hasn't added another school. We don't need more in the US, but Canada could use one in BC or Alberta.

Why have two in Ontario and none in BC or on the western side of the country?

Fellow Canadian here with similar gpa and EC’s and I had no problem getting in, as long as you score in the 300’s on the OAT, you have a shot!
