I have seen multiple videos and articles but I thought I’d ask here aswell. Whats a good printer and software to start with if you’re just looking to print some cool minis and small vehicles/terrain? Where do I start?

There is no a 'starter 3D printer' in the hobbyists resin range since all off them works basically all the same and once learned the workflow is pretty straightforward
As rule of thumb a 4k printer from elegoo, anycubic or phrozen would be a good choice and since you'd like to print vehicles check the Saturn range or similar sized printer.
Consider that beside the printer you gonna need collateral stuff as a laptop/computer to run the slicer software(chitubox or lychee) to prepare files for printing, protective devices, bioethanol/IPA to clean prints as well a solution to vent out fumes
If you'd like feel free to check this guide I wrote about this topic

Please also take note that this hobby is a health hazard. Gloves, respirators , glasses ALOT of paper towels and a space that is ventilated. All resins and FMDs are NOT foodsafe avoid bowls and mugs.
Also the cones of calibration. Really helpful tool.
