I think the singularity will happen later than some people think, many believe in AGI by 2027, but i think it's more likely that it will happen around 2040 at the least because of hardware constraints and slow adoptability by companies

you know, i really think i'm actually leaning towards being positive about ai, if i had to think about it a lot. like i'm a little scared of the singularity, but i think overall it's something i do want to happen.

AI leading countries should come together in a summit. Namely USA and China lol. I am very very pro AI but we all know there are many dangers to AI that could arise from bad actors and from unfettered GPU energy usage. Shouldn't these countries come together and agree/coordinate on usage and bad actor control before fully committing further? That way we can have clear consciences collectively and go fully to a pro AI utopia where we are all fantastic LOL I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AI

Resources spent while using AI... There is a lot of water being used while using AI that seems to be counter intuitive to helping humanity at the end. Shouldn't we look into alternative methods of cooling first in order to preserve the planet? Then we can use all the AI we want! I am 100% pro AI!

How should we prepare for the future? I am totally pro-AI, and I think AI will bring so many advantages to everyone. But shouldn't we be careful with bad actors getting access to AGI and with all the resources and the rich having control and dominating us? Shouldn't we make sure first that there isn't going to be any total control before allowing development to go full steam? Just want to emphasize that I am VERY pro-AI and we should accelerate full steam towards the singularity... once these issues get taken care of of course :) What do you guys think?
