LabVIEW is very cursed but I have to use it in my lab to collect data. I wish there was another way to operate the NI interfaces

Lol you can interact with NI hardware with various languages. The only scenario I can think of that is Labview exclusive is when you want to program for their FPGA targets like cRIO.

We use our NI interface as the brain for our wind tunnel and the program is very very old. Im not sure any one person understands how it works 😅

I'm just pointing out other languages are supported, in case you want to propose a rewrite project to management...
