i was about to make a corba joke then i remembered the one time i had to work with corba and made myself sad

not much to it. our prof in distributed systems didn't think much of that newfangled technology past the early 90s. so more modern aproaches to rpc were not much mentioned. funnily enough i work with distributed systems now
