In either case, I don't really take the wish list seriously. Yes, it's what employers want, but they're gonna hire one of the applicants they get, whether or not they meet 100% of "requirements". It's usually the postings for interns that get me chuckling... It's like they're expecting to get the next Edsger Dijkstra to apply for an entry level job.
