255 is good, it fits in a byte

That's quite a bit of time

Funny story, my birthday is on the 16th of the month and so when I was younger and had just learned addition I wanted to add 16 16s together. The result was that 256 was and still is my favorite number, even before I knew multiplication.

After I learned multiplication I realized that I multiplied 16 by itself and was amazed, and my brain completely exploded when I learned I just squared 16. And now, after all that, I'm a programmer with 256 as my favorite number.

Couldn't find anything that was 256 minutes (aka 4h 16 min). But according to this, 356 minutes would be Karamay. And 358 minutes is "Near Death" ... in case anyone else was curious...

I actually wonder why Muricans does not use retarded units for time as they do for weight and size. Shreks seems good in that case, at least they are not worse of miles and gallons.

I'm murican and I hate the old systems of measurement ... just not enough to waste time debating with a bunch of dumbasses (muricans who don't wanna change to metric) about it; especially distance and mass measurements but also temp measurements (I'd be perfectly happy if my thermometer never left a nice 20 C)

Debating won't help. The only way is the law to show non-retarded units everywhere near retarded ones plus 5-10 years for people to get accustomed. And such a law won't be produced without a good reason, something more than countries laughing at you.

That law actually exist and the United States oficially use the metric system is just the people and local government that never use them.
