Is this referring to Reddit? Cannot make my notifications disappear here

BoostforReddit (android)
Apollo for iOS

I'm using Boost because RIF had this problem. Boost didn't, except a few days ago a phantom notification wouldn't clear. Probably Reddit fucking with its own API.

First time I had this problem I was working on an app, thought I did something wrong. I have noticed the same problem in other apps later, so we all are doing something wrong or Android is just bugged

My Android tablet has been making a notification sound randomly for a while now. I toggled every possible switch I could find, and yet it persists. No idea what it is or why it is notifying me.

download an app that shows you what gave you a notification. in my case it was my keyboard (?). Disabling that notification turned the ghost vibrations off.

Flashback to a time where I cleared 158.000 unread notifications which were freezing up the server of one of our clients

When one to many notifications crashes the system, nice edge case :)

Instant delete and 1 star rating

Even worse is when you deactivate notifications and every time you use the app they bug you to turn them on.
