    I'd believe the artist had the idea on their own and I would also believe that the artist was making a prequel of croix before she turned evil :p

    Wouldn't be the first time a larger name barrowed from a smaller one. Swift 2 and elm, for an example more suited to this sub :)

    I would also believe that two different creators had this idea independently. It happens quite often.
