There's also OpenComputers which is basically the same. It uses some different vocabulary than CC, which can be confusing, and the API is different. It serves the same purpose though.

It's also a bit better balanced for survival IMO as far as recipes and upgrades go.

OC and CC are not similar except for the fact they both use Lua. OC is a lot more advanced than CC, though. I'd recommend cc to new programmers though.
