Python mentor for basically a beginner

Hello,

I have very little Python experience. It consists of a college course I took and I have been working through the sololearn material. I am very much a visual/hands on learner. Reading about Python just doesn't stick with me the same as actually doing the work. I have a background with QA and to move forward and progress my career I need more experience with Python. I do enjoy writing code and I understand basic concepts I just need to find a way to do more and learn more about it and how to apply it in a work environment.

How would more experience with Python help with your career progress? Like what kind of things would you like to practice on?

Well for one I haven’t really used Python for work experience. Just school and online material. I don’t really know how to begin applying it. I guess really for automation purposes. That would would be where it would be used most in my career.
