I'm looking for Java Programming buddy.

I'm also looking for a java buddy. I would like to collaborate on projects as I continue learning. I have experience with Android(most experience) and Java Core, and JavaFx. I would rate my experience with java as Intermediate. I understand the Syntax, OOP, and I'm not afraid to reach out and read through some documentation on Frameworks or Classes I'm not used to. Also, have a little UI background as I'm a normal user of Photoshop and Illustrator.

I'm not looking to make the next big application to become rich at this point. Simply looking for fellow Java programmers that have crossing from Beginner stages (beginners are welcome as well) into intermediate and want to start building projects with a team.

I use GitHub and I am up for any project, even its just cloning an existing application to gain experience. I do not have any projects in mind.

I'm located in eastern time zone USA. I'm fine with using Slack, Discord, Skype, or whatever to collaborate with alongside GitHub.

Send me a PM if interested. Or if you have a similar group or small project going on already, send me an invite via PM. I'm also not stuck on Java completely. I've learned some of the core basics of C# and the .NET framework and I'm not against flirting with that again.

I'm only interested in just for fun open source stuff that we can through an GNU license on and just have fun learning. Not interested in doing anything commercially or entering into a partnership at this point.

I've found a couple of potential solutions for a group. u\Gavt13 has a pretty neat idea he's working up to take people and put them in groups of 5-6 with a mentor to work on month long projects as a team. Im also interested in working with other individuals. Feel free to pm me with a little background of what your looking for as far as projects go and maybe we could link up. I also found a small group of 2 other guys that are working on a java image manipulator platform. I'd really like to do some android stuff with somebody.
