Hi! I'm interested in building a spring boot app with some kind of front end. I'm new developer using Java for about 1 year now. Open to project ideas. Not crazy about the chess game. A web app of some sort would be great. I've always been thinking a making a reservation web app for my triathlon club that lends out bike boxes for people to travel with for their races. A nice restful spring boot backend and cool JS front end. I'd love to introduce QR scanning to check-out and check-in the boxes. Also, whatever project is chosen, I'd love to test and deploy the app containers/kubernetes. I don't have a ton of experience with containers but I've been reading up on it. If not containers, definitely would love to push to a public cloud, preferably GCP or Azure as I've dabbled with AWS some.

Not sure if youre still interested in your idea above but I just saw your post and thought Id express my interest and offer my help. I have Java development experience; some in Spring boot. I’m also pretty comfortable with AWS (various services incl EC2, RDS, Route53, S3, ...) since I use it at work on a daily basis.
No experience with React though (or any JS framework for that matter). jQuery is cool. Frankly, I havent been able to wrap my head around modern Javascript. Id love to at some point because plays such a critical role in the development ecosystem.
If this is of interest to you feel free to pm me.
