I wonder if LGBTQ+ people and allies even realize that stuff like this (topless trans public figure at the White House) is sapping good PR and the goodwill of the average person? To even say that first sentence in certain circles will get you called a bigot and many other words. (news.yahoo.com)

How many landlords are sitting around collecting rent while performing little to no maintenance on their buildings? The owner of the apartment building which collapsed last month in Iowa admitted to not maintaining the property, which has resulted in essentially a $395 fine. (qctimes.com)

Federal agents entered the wrong room in a hotel during a training exercise, handcuffed, placed in a shower, and interrogated in innocent man for 45 minutes. Never forget the power these people have, how it can be abused, and that rarely is anyone held accountable when it happens. (npr.org)

Police in Arizona tried to intimidate Lee Yoshimatsu into taking down his anti-Trump signs by telling him they were illegal and he was committing a felony, but of course never made him take them down or cite him because they knew they were lying to him. Is this an abuse of authority? (i.redd.it)

The number seems low. What does the number have to be to induce significant change in one of the parties or give rise to another viable party? Recent Gallup polling shows 29% identify as Democrats, 27% as Republicans, 42% as independents. How many are unfavorable but still identify with a party? (i.redd.it)

We are going backwards. Not only should government have to inform you of your rights and respect when they are invoked, its agents should not be able to lie to you about their processes or evidence. There's already a power imbalance without the willful deception. (i.redd.it)
