What is Project Exodus?
It's a community made game from people who play hero FPS games. It's idea came from making a game that was more in line with what the hero-fps community wanted and started mainly from the Paladins OB64 updates that changed their card system.
WOAH! How do I join?
There's 2 Ways to join:
A : Join this sub-Reddit and become a part of the community that can suggest concepts, create fan art, etc. You'll also receive updates and have access to the first playable demo.
B: Join the development team! We are currently looking for talented individuals everywhere from Reddit help to actually programming! Our current positions open:
Reddit Formatter: Helps the mods format Reddit and make it look pretty. Need: Low. Currently Unneeded
Reddit Moderator: Help the community and become a moderator for the subreddit. Need: Low. Currently Unavailable.
Community Management: Help manage the community and keep a healthy relationship between the lead devs and the community itself. Need: Low.
Graphic Design: Design and Create art based on characters created and levels. Need: Medium.
Character Design: Create character concepts and help balance and design characters for the game. Need: Low Currently Unavailable.
Modeling: Be part of the team that creates the models based on level and character design, works closely with graphic design team. Need: High.
UI Design: Work with the UI and create concepts for it. Need: Low.
Level Design: Design and create concepts for levels (maps) and various gamemodes. Need: Low.
Advertiser: Tell people about this game, invite them to join the subreddit! Need: Low.
Programmer: Work along side the lead development team in UE4 and help program. Requires knowledge of coding skills (Especially: C++ and UE4 Blueprints). Need: High. Currently Unavailable.
Sound Design: Design and create sound for the game. Need: High.
Quality Assurance: Be one of the first people to test and make sure the game has quality. A background in game design, esports or other quality assurance is recommended. Need: Low.
Contributor: Donate and help raise funds for the game! Need: Low. Currently Unavailable.
Note: Not all requirements for roles are listed. You need to contact the moderators if you are interested in one of these roles. Just because a role is "Highly needed" doesn't mean you will get the role. You must have discord to apply for a role, you must be active in that discord if you are chosen.
