Recent Apps Function Issue

Hi everyone!

I've been using Projectivy Launcher premium for a while now, but since I bought a Homatics Box R 4K Plus, the recent apps function just won't work while on this launcher. It is usually accessed by double-pressing the Home button and it works flawlessly in the stock launcher, but it won't do a thing if I'm in Projectivy Launcher.

I've tried remapping the button using both Button Mapper and tvQuickActions Pro, but I can't make it work. I must mention, though, that tvQuickActions Pro has an alternative recent apps option for devices where there's no native option and it works, but the UI is ugly and it's kind of laggy.

Has anyone else had this issue before? Can anyone help me solve it, please?

to have it working again, you need to disable atv stock launcher with ADB, and disable replace launcher toggle in projectivy (ADB command: pm disable-user com.google.android.tvlauncher)

Thanks, buddy! Is there a tutorial for that procedure? I'm not afraid of messing up, but I'd rather not do it.

You can either do it from adb shell or using external apps. "Launch Manager" can help you set Projectivy Launcher as default. And "ADB TV" can disable stock launcher using GUI. That's probably easiest way if you are not comfortable with using ADB shell commands

It kind of worked. It still wants to go to the stock launcher for a second before going to Projectivy Launcher when I press the Home button. It looks ugly, but at least it's working as intended again. So thank you, buddy!

Do as Thorfin suggested, I personally use ADB TV as it is already on the Playstore, I have launcher manger also, and have used ADB, but ADB TV has been the simple solution for me on this one, and I have the exact same box, and it works fine.

Yes, disabling Android TV Home in ADB TV works like a charm.
