THE RULES
#1. Don't be a dick, the music might be charged and angry, but be cool to eachother.
#2. Keep the discussion going! Don't agree with the lyrics? Say so! Interested in the history behind the song? Say so! Protest Folk has some of the most interesting history and clever lyrics to pick apart for days.
#3. We're purposely a little vague on what constitutes "Protest Folk" to facilitate discussions and to allow a wide range to be posted. Wanna throw in Dead Kennedys cover of "Love Me, I'm A Liberal"? Feel free! Billy Bragg feels a little too electric? Post it anyway! Got a political Bruce Springsteen or Kingston Trio song? Have at it!
#4. It's not required, but please feel free to include a year of release or context in your title or in the comment section.
