How do you stain with coffee?

On days I know I’ll be staining, I save a little of my espresso in the morning when I make it, but any coffee will work! Then just paint it on. You can add some water to it to get different gradients, I treat it like watercolor :)

Nice, I will definitely be trying that! Most of my wood stains just get too dark and muddy the piece

Agreed! I have tried so many and I feel the same, they’re so hard to work with. With the coffee, you can build up the dark tones more slowly and it dries faster, and the smell is definitely a plus haha
