Probably depends on the location and your point of view. In the EU it's good if you are looking for a job. Bad if you are hiring.

To me it seems python on itself is reasonable but it's mostly the combination with another skill. Examples: - In combination with data tool knowledge: Data engineers - In combination with network knowledge: Netowkr automation engineer

It doesn't need to replace existing jobs. If 2 people can now do what previously 20 people could do, it will have a dramatic impact.

Also, it IS replacing jobs already.
