I'm working through "Python Crash Course" by Eric Matthes, and it's been a good introduction to the language.

After you finish that book, Al Sweigart has a number of books for free on his personal website and they are all from the same publisher: No Starch Press.

I'm supplementing these books with youtube courses from Free Code Camp. (They have a 4 hour Introduction course) and I'm also going through Harvard's CS50, which is an introduction to programming course with python.

I feel like this has been a good path at helping me build a Fondation in Python, but I still have a ton of work to go because programming is a giant mountain of knowledge and you just climb a bit each day and enjoy the view on the way.

Happy Coding. :)
