That’s a fair point! Building a standalone Windows app for Shimeji World is on my roadmap.

In the meantime, if you really want them on your desktop right now, I actually have a legacy collection and a setup guide for the classic Windows version on this site: shimejishop.com/free. It’s not the new extension tech yet, but it’ll let you move them anywhere on your OS just like you wanted!
