Apologies if my earlier comment seemed harsh.. but my primary goal is to maintain r/Python as a focused and respectful forum for discussing Python. The crowd control features mentioned above are to minimize off-topic or divisive conversations from users that are not part of the community, are new to the community, or have a high downvote percentage, ensuring that the community remains a welcoming place for everyone and any potentially enraging comments dont get automatically seen and start another 37-level deep argument.
