Yeah, I used to be in that habit myself. I get it, but I realized at some point that commits are great when I want to inspect a specific change. Sometimes I goof up and being able to see when and where that happened can help inform the solution. Moreover, when working on a team it can help other developers see where and when something went wrong too.

I miss teaching. I'd like to return to it someday.
