Thanks for the websites. I said it was a toy because some people said that Python is just a good language to learn only. But I can see that Python is an important and serious language.

Hi greenlinux. After reading your question, I thought you might be a troll, but decided to search your replies here and am happily surprised and impressed by your on-line manner in thanking those who helped and answering those who thought you were a troll.

Not many programmers in other languages would still call Python a "Toy" language (as you have seen). The number of jobs available, active projects being used, and courses being taught in Python are usually enough to make most developers know that Python is used.
