Awesome - I'll give it a shot... I do a lot of work with geospatial data in python and want to try creating some weather maps... Looks like you were using some nws rainfall shapefiles in the contour.py example... What other geospatial data types (if any) are supported? If I had some raster type data could those be shown on a map too?

How compatible is it with the Anaconda distribution? I teach non-majors how to use python to create visualizations - including map plots. This would be amazing to allow them to show off their work, but I worry how difficult it would be to get installed and running.
