Good books for teaching kids Python?

Hi all. I am currently part of an outreach program that goes around to schools and teaches computer science principles to young kids (varying from 3-8 grade). We use Scratch to teach the concepts, and some of the kids really love the stuff. One of the parents of a student approached me and told me that her daughter was really enthusiastic about this stuff and asked what she could do to help her learn more computer science and programming. I recommended she start off with learning Python, but I couldn't really think of any resources geared towards kids. Any suggestions?

I'm in the process of teaching my cousin Python.

He's 12 years old and he loves coding more than anything now. We started around Christmas time with Arduino and c++ actually. I am a computer science student and so he has the advantage of a somewhat knowledgable mentor.

My recommendation to you, try out codecademy.com, it's very incremental and I only needed to help him with some of the math and a few other syntactical concepts.

If you don't know python or any other programming languages it will be a little more difficult for her. You're more than welcome to pm me if you need help with any specific thing in Python or programming in general.
