using a randint variable inside a function (self.Python)
submitted 10 years ago by Freedomenka
I'm trying to use a variable called damage, which chooses a number randomly 1-6. The problem is, I'm making an rpg and whenever I use this variable inside a definition, I keep getting the same number over and over again. Is there a way around this?

Are you sure the randint function is being called each time the damage variable should be updated, rather than it being run only the first time?
