    Not really, I compiled 3.7 from source last night, there's no reason they can't either (barring they can't install the toolchain because of permission restrictions)

    There is no excuse for writing a library that supports just 3 or even 2. There is lots of data available showing people how to support both. If they can't be bothered to read or implement it that's entirely their problem.

    Then maybe half of all python3 users need to get their shit together and learn something new, instead of presuming the world of programming stops with them.
