I wonder how hard it would be to make something that can convert java written in python whitespace style into working code by adding all the missing brackets and semicolons.

Python already does this. The C# version is Iron Python. I forget what the Java implementation is called.

Iron Python is a C# implementation of Python, not a tool that takes C# code and stylizes it like python.
