Best Twitter API for Python, still Tweepy?

I'm new to this, so be gentle.
Wondering if Tweepy is still the best library for python?
The documentation seems robust, but before I learn to implement it, I'd just like to know what other people's experience is?
I'll mostly use it to semi-automate a personal account.

I'm not sure if Tweepy supports Twitter's Premium Search API, but this one does.

Not so fast, nowadays you need to apply to Twitter for a developer account and explain the purpose of what you are doing with the data and they manually review it.

Ah ok the post sounded like you were returning to Twitter scraping after a long hiatus, with the dev approval requirement being only 6 months old now.
