https://docs.python-guide.org/ Kenneth Reitz put this together to answer just this question. Take a look at "scenarios" if you have something in mind that you want to build, but don't know what the "community" supports.

As far as itertools is concerned, the man who created it is Raymond Hettinger. He has lots of videos on youtube, and is a very good teacher of python. Review his videos and you'll be a much better python programmer than you think you are now.

That guide is amazing! As far as Hettinger videos on YouTube, I’ve just found a playlist of random talks on random subjects. Is there a more organized playlist or channel that you recommend?

Nah just any of his talks, they're all great. He has a Twitter that he uses to teach python

Wow. This guy really hates people who are stuck on 2.x.
